The firm’s immigration group provides comprehensive immigration representation to individuals, nonprofit organizations, and companies. Our practice focuses on obtaining employment-based temporary visas and permanent residence, family-sponsored permanent residence, naturalization, asylum, and a range of other immigration benefits. We represent clients in filings before the Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS), the Department of Labor, and the Department of State; in permanent residence and citizenship interviews before USCIS; and in removal proceedings before the Department of Justice’s Executive Office of Immigration Review (Immigration Court). Specifically, our work includes:
- Employment-Based Temporary Visas: We represent employers and foreign national employees to obtain temporary work visas including but not limited to H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-2B, H-3, B-1, E-1/E-2, and J-1 visas.
- Employment-Based Permanent Residence: We work with employers and foreign national employees to obtain permanent residence through the labor certification process or by qualifying the employee as an Alien of Extraordinary Ability, a Multinational Executive or Manager, Investor, or for a National Interest Waiver, etc.
- Family-Sponsored Permanent Residence: We work with foreign nationals and their sponsoring family members to obtain permanent residence. We are also available to provide representation at permanent residence interviews before USCIS.
- Family-Sponsored Temporary Visas: We assist foreign nationals and their sponsoring family members in securing K-1 and K-3 visas.
- Naturalization: We represent permanent residents seeking to become naturalized U.S. Citizens by filing naturalization applications and preparing them for their examination. We are also available to represent them in their interview.
- Asylum and Withholding of Removal: We assist foreign nationals who have a well-founded fear of persecution in their home countries on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion to obtain asylum or withholding of removal.
- Other Immigration Benefits and Relief from Removal: We assist clients to obtain Employment Authorization, travel and reentry documents, and extensions of stay. We also assist clients in other discrete matters such as Humanitarian Parole, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, Waivers of Inadmissibility, and Cancellation of Removal, among other matters.
